What the heck is Spill?
Spill is a night of live storytelling featuring you and anyone else with the cojones to get up on the mic and tell a killer story.
If that sounds like just your bag, grab some friends and come throw your name in the hat. Each night has a theme, and ten folks will be randomly selected to get up and tell their tale to the delight of the story-hungry crowd at the Black Pearl on Main. Three tables of judges will be picked to score the stories from 1-10, and the winner goes home with a $25 gift certificate, a spot in the championship, and a whole heap of knowing-you're-awesome. Oh yeah, and it's gotta be true.
You don't have to be a standup comedian or a novelist to tell your story, you just need get up there and rip the story your friends always make you tell. And if you aren't ready to spill just yet, come down anyway for the coolest, most unique thing happening on a Monday night in Ann Arbor. The drinks are on special, the food is fantastic, and absolutely nobody will read a poem--we promise.
